When Rejection Occurs Print E-mail

When rejection occurs, some sort of reaction or response is required. Forgiveness of the offending party is the only scriptural response acceptable to God. God has commanded us to forgive others their trespasses. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if you have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses (Mark 11:25-27).

Defining the Christian Print E-mail

"Christian" originates from the Greek word Christianos, which means a follower of Christ. What does that really mean? Is a person a Christian just because he claims to be? Many people in our society say they are Christians because they attend Sunday church services regularly. Some say they are Christians because they do good works; but works alone does not guarantee eternal life. Some say they are believers but won't obey the Word of God. What man can call himself a Christian but does not care about what the Bible teaches us? As you begin to ponder these statements and questions, consider your own life and how you follow or not follow Christ.
